Phantasialand is calling! 2.2 kilometers of ascent over 69 meters of altitude, always nice and up the Euskirchener Straße. A bike lane shows the way while cars race past.
After just 300 meters it becomes flat again and 60 meters later the ice cream parlor beckons, but we stay strong and push through, although the gradient increases significantly again in the second half. Because we either want to take a ride on the Black Mamba or drive on to Weilerswist. The latter, of course.

The entire increase is about 60hm over a distance of 2.6km. There are wheel protection strips on both sides, which don't protect against cars, but at least the traffic pays a little more attention to the cyclists.
