Tips
The Franziskussee is one of more than two dozen bodies of water in the "Ville" between Brühl and Liblar, which offer hikers a wonderful variety of walks in the woods. Historically, today's nature and landscape conservation area in the "Rhineland Nature Park" is a former mining area, where lignite was mined in opencast mines long ago.
