The benches (there are now two) are ideal to sit on. The treated plants are the gentian, round-leaved zenegroen, seven-window, the bog orchid and woolly grass. The sign also tells about the origin of the term Vergade as it is called here. It is thought to be Celtic for "ford". There used to be one here (now there is a bridge) that allowed to cross the Roer when going from Sourbrodt to Kalterherberg - or vice versa of course.
