Hiking
In contrast to the Steiner Hochalm, the Steiner Niederalm (1,078 m) is not managed. From here you have great views of the Söllandl and the opposite mountain range with the Hartkaiser above Ellmau. Incidentally, the path leads directly through the cattle gate at the alpine hut and right through the middle of a good-natured herd of cattle.
