Built within twelve years from 1568 by Italian Baumeister brothers, it is covered inside and out with sgraffiti (this is the technique in which different colored layers of plaster are applied on top of each other and the pictures are then created by "scratching away" these layers to different depths) . Very beautiful!
four-wing system; in the courtyard you can see the arcades of the three wings - what an airy lightness this creates! The sgraffito in the courtyard shows ancient and biblical scenes, including the Tower of Babel.
Outside there is a beautiful castle garden; a part baroque.
