Hiking Highlight
As Klötzle Blei, on the one hand, the butcher's rock in the city and, on the other hand, a lead cube attached to this mountain. The term is known from the tongue twister: ’s leit a Kletzle lead at Blaubeira - same at Blaubeira lead a Kletzle lead (see Eduard Mörike's Stuttgarter Hutzelmännchen, story of the beautiful Lau).

Nice to look at from below. But there is also a beautiful path up and on over the Rücken, with the Ach on one side and the Blau on the other.

Somewhat free-standing rock with a view of the neighboring valleys. There is no way up, but there is a ring at the top 🧗

Great view of Blaubeuren.
Incidentally, the deep blue Blautopf also inspired Eduard Mörike to create his “Stuttgarter Hutzelmännlein” - written in Swabian dialect with a tongue twister: “S'leit a Klötzle lead same with Blaubeura, same with Blaubeura lead a Klötzle lead.” In it he also talks about the beautiful Lau, a cross between a human woman and a mermaid, who was banished to the blue pot by her husband because she could not laugh and only gave birth to dead children.

A narrow and easily accessible path leads directly to the rock. From here you have a wonderful view of Blaubeuren.
