The area of Gut Emstal is huge. On the south side leads a hiking trail along the Ems and through the renaturation of the Ems and its meadows, unfortunately as a dead end. On the pastures are stately cattle. North, and here marked the road runs, here you can easily go by bike and if one of the gates is open, you can admire the great construction. Anyone who wants to see more must take a guided tour. These are only stables, living is not possible here. The tower was discovered by bats. In general, much emphasis is placed on nature conservation in this area with the Emsauen. The thatched roof is plastic. The first real Reet did not last long and so the roofs were covered. Still looks great.
