With a total drop of 385 m, the Krimml Waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in Austria. You are on the outskirts of the town of Krimml in the Hohe Tauern National Park. They are formed by the Krimmler Ache, which falls in three stages at the end of the high Krimmler Achental.

The ascent to the upper waterfall is very touristy (unfortunately) if you continue along the valley path it gets quieter. The waterfalls are great and a classic when traveling in the region.
