With a height of 385 meters, the Krimml Waterfalls are among the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Europe. You are in the Hohe Tauern National Park near the village of Krimml. The waterfalls are well developed and can be easily reached from the parking lot at the WasserWelten Krimml. The magnificent waterfall path requires a bit of stamina and can be covered in around an hour - if it weren't for the many wonderful opportunities and viewpoints from which the waterfall is wonderful to look at. The waterfall consists of 3 large cascades. There are refreshment stops near the waterfall.

Especially from the upper part of the waterfalls you have a great view of the valley, sometimes even with rainbows. A special highlight is the wooden footbridge at the apex of the upper waterfall, where the Krimmler Ache suddenly plunges from its calm course into the depths.
