Large district town of Dinkelsbühl (Wörnitztor, 2023-05-08):

      tourismus-dinkelsbuehl.de/ihr-urlaubsort/stadtrundgang/stations-rundgang/woernitztor

“The Wörnitztor with hump ashlars from the Staufer period is the oldest of the four city gates. At the end of the 14th century the tower was raised. The Renaissance gable with bell tower dates from the 16th century. On the outside, as on all four city gates, is the coat of arms of the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl - three golden ears of spelled on three hills. Next to it is the imperial eagle as a sign of imperial immediacy.”

Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments (City of Dinkelsbühl, monuments, 2023-05-08):

      geodaten.bayern.de/denkmal_static_data/externe_denkmalliste/pdf/denkmalliste_merge_571136.pdf

“D-5-71-136-18 Altrathausplatz 7; millrace. Eastern city gate, so-called Wörnitztor, gate tower made of ashlars, partially plastered, with gabled roof and pointed arch gate, flanking wall parts with passages and former barbican, 13th century, tower elevation around 1400, tower upper floor with late Renaissance gables around 1600.”
