Jupiter Giant Columns are a special feature of the northern provinces and may have originated from Celtic influences.

They consist of a four-god stone as a base, a second cubic base, a scaled column with a Corinthian capital and genii heads, and the crowning figure of a lightning-wielding Jupiter riding down a giant.
