The present park, open to walkers on April 20, 2007, was built on the site of Różanki - Rasarium / Rosengarten, established in 1928 on the occasion of a gardeners' reunion and expanded in the 1930s.
The park is a walking place, but also a stage for art - for several years in the summer season, on Saturdays and Sundays, various concerts, workshops for children and dances are held here. Over nine thousand roses in 99 varieties have been planted in the garden, and other valuable plant species also grow here.
In the southern part of the complex, developed with perennial plants, a fountain was built, consisting of two reservoirs (upper and lower). Part of it were sculptures of four birds (geese or swans) by Kurt Schwerdtfeger, hence the name "Bird well".
