Peat Path

A path/path velvety soft on peat ground and wonderfully situated in the open fen landscape.

Gorgeous hiking trail. After the rain of the past few weeks, the ground bounces with every step, almost as if you were walking on a trampoline.

It's fun to walk on this peat path, although it can feel strange the first time when part of the ground beneath you starts to move. Oh, and don't be too scared if part of your shoe suddenly disappears unexpectedly. Take the driest looking parts on the side of the path if it scares you too much. As a reminder: "Peat soil is a type of soil that is made up of humified plant material.
