Hiking

The Nêur Lowé is a former peat extraction area in the High Fens, which is now part of a nature reserve and moorland. It is located south of Belgium's highest point, the Signal de Botrange, and is accessible via narrow paths. In the area, you can still find typical moorland plants, such as sundew. On moorland paths, you can still experience the "Schwingrasen" – a typical moorland phenomenon, where grassy areas yield slightly when stepped on.
At the end of May, beautiful cotton grass fields can be found along the boardwalk.

A beautiful, recommendable section of the path.
