The Mysla has its source in the Soldin Lake District and flows into the Oder after 96 km. The Myśla is known as “Poland’s Templar River” due to historical connections to the Templar Order. This name is due to the fact that in the 13th century many local princes gave the Knights Templar large plots of land on the river.
