From the castle Loevenstein to Woudrichem is not far by bike. Small ferry with the boat Hugo translate and drink at the pier coffee or something. Then a little further to Woudrichem worth the way alone because of the imposing church with a mighty tower. Marina and mill also worth seeing.

Woudrichem is a sturdy fortress lying on the Merwede and has good neighbors such as the Gorinchem fortress and Loevestein Castle. This fortified town is worth a visit. Meander along the centuries-old facades, visit the historic harbor and contemplate this history on a beautiful terrace.
