The St Ulrich church was consecrated on October 12, 1755 by the Augsburg auxiliary bishop Franz Xaver Adelmann von Adelmannsfelden. In May 973 Bishop Ulrich came on the way from Sulmentingen to Amendingen and called Ottobeur monks to a meeting here.
