Mountain biking

Here a few meters on the slope path over the path that leads around the lake you have a great view of the middle part of the Hengsteysees. To the south is the pumped storage power plant Koepchenwerk, and a little further the run-of-river power plant Hengstey with roller weir at the southern end of the reservoir. Just north is the Niedernhof, more rarely also called Villa Funcke or Funckenburg.
