The nine totem poles at Brockton Point are the most visited tourist attraction in British Columbia. The collection began in the 1920s when the Park Authority purchased four totems. In 1936 more totems were purchased from different regions. In the mid 1960's the totem poles were moved to the attractive and easily accessible Brockton Point.
