The third level will have 4×4, or 16, blocks, before finally completing the last level with 2×2, or 4, blocks. A model of the finished work of art is on display in the Haus des Gastes in Wemding.
The part of the pyramid built so far is on a concrete field on a rounded hill, the Robertshöhe, on the northern edge of Wemding. So far (2013) only three blocks have been laid: the first in October 1993, the second in 2003, the third block in 2013. The fourth was added as planned in September 2023.
The project is mainly financed by local companies providing the materials for the concrete slab free of charge, for example. In addition, the material for each block is not fixed; future generations may vary depending on availability. The project is managed by a foundation based in Wemding."
