The tower of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary rises 56 meters above Domažlice. Its exact age and original purpose are unclear: it could date from the 13th to 15th centuries. It was built gradually, reaching its current height in 1545. Originally, it was separated from the church by a narrow alley. The tower has a round floor plan with a diameter of 8.2 meters and twelve stories; 194 steps lead to its top. The tower has tilted 59 centimeters due to unstable ground, but is now stable.

Kostel Narození Panny Marie.The Church of the Nativity of Our Lady in Domažlice was built in the first half of the 12th century. Later in 1756, it was rebuilt into Baroque style. The tower of this church is slightly inclined.
