There are other sights on Lindenplatz, such as the Ballenhaus from the rear and the police officer's gate. The police officer's tower is a gate tower from the 13th century. It was built from tuff blocks as a shell tower. Having lost its function as a city gate, the open back facing the city was closed and the tower was converted into an inhabited entrance. In 1787 the octagon with a tent roof was put on. Residential use by the police officer in the 19th century.
