On October 28, 1877, the new Lößniger church was inaugurated after a year of construction. It was designed by the architect Hugo Altendorff. Since financial resources were limited, it was only two years later that she received an organ from the Geißler company from Eilenburg. The baptismal font from 1582 from the previous building as well as the old bells from 1442 and 1526 were installed in the new building. After the chaos of war, the third bell was only added in 1986. The church roof was renovated in 2010 with public funds and many donations. On it you can see the old gilded roof turret with the coat of arms of the Blasebalg family, who supported the old church in many ways.
