The apparently nameless pedestrian crossing over the Limmat connects two beautiful places and areas here. On the right bank of the river, on the high bank of the Brombachhalde, there is a great vantage point with far-reaching views over the city to the Uetliberg. On the left side of the Limmat there is a larger piece of Limmat floodplain forest, the "Werdhölzli" nature reserve - a renaturation project by the city of Zurich, which replaced the previously rigid river bed with a gliding bank, thus connecting the habitats of a wide variety of animal and plant species and at the same time creating space for numerous riverine residents could. The footbridge over the river allows car-free exploration of both banks, which are beautiful in their own way.

Pleasant Sunday walk. Also goes with the stroller.

There are many ways to draw rounds here. It's quieter down the river.
