Adalar Beach Club is an older, quiet beach club and restaurant built into the cliffs right next to Karaalioglu Park. Unpretencious, family-owned and without music. Admission is, as of October 2025, 250 TRY per person. Kids younger then 13 are not allowed.

Okay, lovely trail with a super steep descent, only for sure-footed people without vertigo. Minimal climbing involved. Bring enough water as there is no fountain on the way. The one 3km from the end doesn't exist anymore!

Beautiful hike with an amazing scenery. Just about at the halfway point, there is the only fresh water fountain on the whole trail.

Today I didn't finish my hike as the trail was overgrown and I didn't feel like crawling through thorny bushes any longer. So I freestyled it cross country to the road and arranged to be picked up from there. Bring enough water or bring a water filter as there were no water fountains on the way.

Honestly, the first half of the trail is quite something...steep & overgrown, missed the path quite a few times even with GPS and ended up climbing down small cliffs with my camp gear. Mind you, there is also some shimming along a rock wall / climbing involved while on the official waymarked trail. 😂 So, this section is for the fit and adventurous only.

Fill up your water bottle in Findik, just after the trail starts, as there is no guaranteed water source until you reach Kesme. Above the second sheperd encampment (stone gut) you will encounter on the trail, there is said to be a spring up the hill off the trail past the hut which is said to exist since antiquity. It has a wooden gate and small bridge to keep the animals out.

There is plenty of water sources on the first bit in the trail and none until Kasimlar after. The trail was for about 3km very hard to find and overgrown (about km 12-15).

The ancient Roman road up to ancient Adada is magnificient!! Adada itself is pretty much unexplored, there is more to the town I am sure. On the way up, you can spot many ruins that are still not defined and pretty much hidden by trees and bushes.

Okay, this trail is only for the fit and brave, as you will have to climb several times and once shimmy along a rock wall where - if you slip and fall - you for sure die. The views were great, though! I don't think you can do this with a big bagpack either, wouldn't advise it. If you are on a camping trip, In strongly recommend sending your stuff ahead by taxi.

There is no all year water source on this stage - the soldier's Fountain was dry in early October - but you can fill up your bottle in Serpil (just around the corner from the starting point of the hike) and there is a well-stocked mini market by the mosque in Sipahiler at the end of the hike.
