The gravel road here runs east of the Maesbempder Greend with the Maas on the other side. Part of it is in the grazing zone and then you can continue to the northeast to walk to the castle via the Kraaienbos forest reserve. Sometimes you see the horses here, otherwise they are probably near the water. Also go off the path to walk the small piece of land that juts out into the Maesbempder Beemd, usually the horses are there to the right under the trees where the beaver tracks are. And as Im Do says, this part does indeed feel quite heavy and tiring with the stones after a longer walk.

Beautiful Konik horses, had foals, remained very calm and the little ones were even curious.
