Mooie wandeling na de enorme hitte de afgelopen twee maanden met twee kleine klimmetjes.
Heerlijk om weer een te wandelen in normalere temperaturen.
Na enkele kilometers begon het zelfs iets te regenen, Het is niet veel maar wel heerlijk na al die hoge temperaturen. Toch even de poncho aangedaan ☔.

Deze korte wandeling vertrekt vanaf de instapplaats Bessemer en leidt je tot aan de heide van de Zijpbeekvallei.
Deze route voert je vooral door uitgestrekte bosgebieden.

This little walk was intended for the outbound journey, but the wildfire around Venray threw "soot" into the route.

Op aanraden van lokel meer door de natuur gelopen en grotendeels onderaan de dijk.
Aan het begin van de route was er veel activiteiten op het water. Er werden twee visarenden gespot. De ganzen en eenden waren in grote paniek .

Het Armenbos is een prachtig, heuvelachtig bronnenbos dat deel uitmaakt van het Natura 2000-gebied het Bunder- en Elslooërbos, gelegen op de oostelijke helling van het Maasdal nabij Bunde en Elsloo. Dit gebied staat bekend om zijn kalkrijke beken, bronbossen en bijzondere flora en fauna.
