The Goldgasse is a narrow alley in the old town of Salzburg, which, crossing the Brodgasse, begins at the Alter Markt and leads in an arc to the Residenzplatz. The houses in Goldgasse have five to six floors. The facades are mostly smooth. The alley was used for a small milk market until the early 19th century.
