Hiking
The forest path from here up to the Schneeberg is, by the way, a beautiful forest path and often accessible even in winter when there's snow. Some winter hiker or forestry vehicle has already cleared the path.
From Karches to the Hubertusbrunnen and the forest path continues diagonally uphill to the riding school and up to the Schneeberg: in my opinion, one of the most beautiful paths up Franconia's highest mountain.
