The double-winged castle rises on a central hill above the market. At the foot of the hill, at a short distance, are the market square and the evangelical church.The left wing houses a dormitory for people with a mental disability of the Diakonie Hochfranken. The right wing is privately owned. Holiday apartments can be rented there. Small utility buildings have been preserved at the castle, which already belonged to the previous buildings. The modern terraced outdoor pool is located on the grounds of the former castle park behind it.
