ImReserve Olympic Regatta Course
Since 1920, the Frankfurt rowing clubs have organized regular regattas. The athletes came with their boats from all over Germany. After 1922, the boathouse, the finisher's tower and, opposite, a completely covered tribune with a thousand seats were built. For the 1936 Olympic Games, the Brieskower See regatta course was considered an alternative route for Berlin Grünau. The war brought everything to an abrupt end. The grandstand was destroyed, the boathouse and the finisher's tower were badly damaged. Today the boathouse is managed by the Schneider fishery from Brieskow Finkenheerd.

The Brieskower lake had been prepared in 1936 for the Olympic Games as a reserve regatta course. Just before the confluence with the Oder, there is the finish tower. On the opposite bank you can still suspect remnants of the grandstand.
