Many half-timbered houses and other historic buildings in Vlotho's old town have been lovingly restored. A real eye-catcher!👍😊‼️Unfortunately, there are still several beautiful old houses standing empty, neglected, or even abandoned to decay. Worse still: several vacant lots are reminiscent of houses that no longer exist. Vlotho's old town would be even more beautiful if as many houses as possible could be saved from decay.

In the historic city center of Vlotho, lovingly restored half-timbered houses and proud town houses of various architectural styles are reminiscent of the checkered history of the once important merchant town of Vlotho. On the 2.5 km long city center circular route you will pass many of these buildings and other sights of the idyllic spa town on the Weser. A stroll through the pretty shopping streets and a stop at a café or a Westphalian meal complete the small tour. Start and finish is the Tourist Information.
