Sallochy Campsite is a welcome sight after a long day's hike, especially if you're on the West Highland Way. With 30 pitches (20 on the main site and 10 by the Loch), it perfectly captures the wild camping experience without you having to scope out a pitch.

The tent spots are level and feel very private. To enhance your experience, you can hire a firepit and purchase wood from the warden. Please follow the principles of Leave No Trace and ensure you don't damage the existing trees where possible.

The pitch costs £7 per person per night. Facilities include composting toilets and cold running water. You can book online at: forestryandland.gov.scot/visit/forest-parks/queen-elizabeth-forest-park/sallochy

There are toilets and running water on the Sallochy Campsite. For £ 10 you can get a fire bowl and a sack of firewood for the evening. There are camping possibilities on a central meadow or directly on the hole. The sites can be reserved online.
