Foolish activities have been documented in Sulz am Neckar since 1880. The Sulz Carnival Guild was founded in 1937.

The traditions of the Sulz Fasnet have existed in roughly their current form since the early 1970s.

Traditionally, our Fasnet opens on the evening of Shrove Thursday on the market square with a fool's jump and a witch's dance.

The guild ball is the highlight of the Sulz Fasnet on Saturday.

The grand parade with the participation of outside carnival groups follows on Carnival Sunday.

On Carnival Tuesday, the carnival begins at 10:30 a.m. with the children's ball and a communal lunch in the brick building. In the afternoon, the Fleckadapp follows, where all costumed people can mingle with the fools.

The carnival concludes at dusk at the Fool's Fountain.
