Very beautiful and old church, you have the feeling that time has stood still.

The Dill Evangelical Church is on the way to the Dill Castle ruins; you should definitely take a look inside.

The current church was built in 1701 on the site of the previous church. This was the time when French occupation troops were quartered in the village and castle. The church's consecration was celebrated on September 18, 1701, with the sovereign, Duke Christian II of Birkenfeld-Bischweiler, in attendance, among others.

The interior dimensions of the Baroque church are given in the documents as 16.90 m and 17.40 m. During the last renovation, shortly before the turn of the millennium, the organ was placed back on the gallery.

The interior displays works by the Baroque painter Johann Georg Engisch (born 1668 in Kirn), which he created from 1710 onwards, on the gallery and in the choir. The choir window, dating from 1922, contains Christ's promise from Matthew 28 ("I will remain with you always, even to the end of the age.")
Since a service in the Reformation anniversary year of 2017, a restored altar bible from 1665 has also been on display in the church.
