Work by Andreu Alfaro, inaugurated in 2003, commissioned by the port of Barcelona. These are seven large stainless steel arches that are an evocation of the waves of the sea. The huge width of the arches makes it easy for people to walk under it. As Javier Maderuelo says It is a work designed for a fleeting contemplation from the car, as Walter Benjamin claimed for the distracted look that characterizes modernity.
