The Avenida da Ribeira das Naus connects the Praça do Comércio at the southern end of the center (Baixa) with the Cais do Sodré, a junction for trains, boats, subways and trams. Not far from there is the modernized market hall Mercado da Ribeira with many restaurants.
The Avenida itself was renovated just a few years ago and a beautiful promenade was created.translated by
