The Schutzengelweg begins at the valley station on the Tegelberg and ends at the mountain station Tegelberg. Its length is about 5km and meanders steeply uphill about 903m. From the valley station, it goes through the nature reserve Ammergebirge. With his various charts he spans an informative arc from the hunters to the present day. This path offers a breathtaking view of Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau
The Ahornreitweg is the counterpart to the Schutzengelweg. He is about 14km with an up / down of good 911Hm. The nature tour leads first on an alpine path with valley view in the middle of the mountains. Later, the path turns into gentler paths and passes the restaurant "Bleckenau". If you like, you can take the bus back to the Tegelbahn via Hohenschwangau. Or the route to walk. If you decide to walk, you will pass the mountain river and the Marinbrücke near Neuschwanstein.
