The Schreckenstein is a rocky outcrop and a large scree field on the Kälbeskopf at a height of around 560m. The path leads directly past the scree field and from there you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Bühlertal and the Rhine plain. The rocky peak is above the path, but climbing it with bike shoes is strongly discouraged.
