Historical sources attribute the construction of the castle in Drahim to the knightly order of the Knights of St. John at the end of the 14th century. The first stage of construction works took place in the years 1360-1366
As already mentioned, it is located on a 60-meter isthmus between Drawsko and Żerdno lakes
