In June 2012, the old, rotten bridge was replaced with a new wooden bridge. The truss bridge is made entirely of local Douglas fir wood.

Road cycling

If you have just come from Kaltenbronn, the quickest way to get to the Enz Valley Cycle Path is over this bridge. You will want to push your racing bike briefly before and after the bridge, but it's worth it, because the top-paved, still quite new bike path is clearly preferable to the state road.

Road cycling

The bridge is pretty, but it's only accessible via a meadow trail next to the pasture. Coming from the road, it's easy to miss the entrance.

A little further west (Nonnenmiß) and east (Kälbermühlenweg in Christophshof), the Enz is easier to cross, provided you're willing to drive a bit on the country road first.
