Tips

Currently (10 \ 2018), the surface was renewed from St. Peter and it now runs until just before Eschbach velvety smooth. Especially in the downhill a pleasure!

Nice route to St. Peter with some nice curves. The surface is mostly ok, but there is always traffic here.

The Saint Peter's monastery square is a nice place to have a short break after the climb up. There are many benches, where one can sit for a minute or two, the wonderful monastery and nice views into the Black Forrest. If one is hungry, there is also a bakery and a café nearby.

Due to the rather high volume of traffic, the variant via the Unteribental is more suitable for the ascent. This route is my favorite for the departure from St. Peter.

great route, but you should choose a quiet time. (Winter, midday on weekdays or corona)

Abbey of Saint Peter. A nice detour at Saint Peter with a nice view and some places to rest after the climb.

One of the numerous valleys that can be driven from St. Peter. In the upper part, very alpine, it ends up quite flat after footbridges.

On the south side of the monastery is the Knöpfle bakery ... be sure to stop and enjoy baked goods
