The Hell-Oberkirch Castle is located directly on the town park and has been redesigned several times since the 18th century. The current building was erected around 1846. The former Oberkirch estate, which passed to the Montbrison and de Hell families through several marriages, was acquired by the city of Obernai in 1947. The neo-Gothic chapel, built in 1911, with its circular design, is reminiscent of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The chateau is currently undergoing a complete renovation and restoration (2025).
