Unlike other such lonely roads in the forest, this one has surprisingly good asphalt.

The uphill is a bit of a sporting challenge, but with little traffic, making it one of the most beautiful climbs in the Nagold Valley. It's even been closed for some time, or rather, only for local residents - take advantage of the opportunity!

Extreme caution is advised on the downhill: The road becomes relatively narrow behind the mill, often dirty, and probably not plowed in winter.

The long, blind curves are particularly treacherous. The guardrail doesn't cover the entire dangerous area, so if you make a mistake or slip, you could, in the worst case, fall into the ravine.

At the very end, there's also a paved speed bump - so better slow down! The residents at the Lower Mill urge you to drive at walking pace (no idea if this is officially permitted). You should at least slow down - also for your own benefit - because you often encounter one of them during the day, and of course, no one wants an accident.

Tough ascent through the grinding valley along the little brook called “Schlittbach”. Top percentages of up to 15% require good legs on 1.7km and 100hm.
