The Moervaart connects the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal and the Durme. The canal has little economic significance today and is only used by pleasure craft. The towpath next to the winding Moervaart will make you dream away. Don't forget to pay attention to the Lokerse Moervaartmeersen. These meadows are a paradise for water birds.
