The approx. 20 meter high owl tower made of sandstone blocks is part of the former city fortifications in the south-western area of the city wall. Like the thief's tower, the owl's tower also has a dungeon in the basement. Originally there were eight towers and four gate towers. The Owl Tower is not open to the public.
