The two-storey mansion with the stepped gable in brick and the stone cross windows in the Gothic style was built in the 16th century. 1598 Reconstruction of the mansion after the destruction by Spanish troops, whereby the external forms were preserved. Inside, however, the house was furnished in the style of the Baroque period.
The house looks back on a long history.
The Wenge house has been owned by the city of Dortmund since 1952
