We were really lucky with this wonderful autumn weather trip to the lookout tower on the Kitzscher-Trages high mountain as the destination and turning point of a nice 8 around the Markkleeberger and the Störmthaler See.de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halde_TragesA warm sunny autumn holiday Sunday provided plenty of crowd, but here's room for everyone
This excites me every time, as well as the quality of the bike paths (exceptions, of course, as everywhere rule the rule😉)
It is also nice that not everything and everywhere on the devil-komm-out is urbanized. Although many kilometers along the lakes have (often very paved) bike paths, but otherwise are protected from overbuilding and left to nature.
I love this region wholeheartedly, probably due to the fact that I grew up here at a time when all this was unthinkable!
Come here and see for yourself

Use Saturday weather ... better than expected😎 Bike-adapted (flat and leisurely😏) bobsleigh with the debris🙈 ... the driving wheel has been in the hospital since the accident and is waiting there for the chief physician 👨🏻🔧🔧⚙️⛓😩
1st stage in the city center of Dortmund - nice past the Blechkolonne to get me a weekly ticket for public transport, as long as my bike is not available. The way I could have saved me, tickets are only available online in the app ... Thanks for that ... I was still looking for something that I could prove my abundant phone memory 🤦🏻♀️🙄😩
So, heading north as fast as possible away from the road - to the Dortmund Ems Kanal😊 Today on the eastern side, that was new and gave me new perspectives, but also a detour, because the canal way on this side is not passable. Stairs were not an option today, because the "debris" in comparison to the driving wheel but relatively heavy and I have from the accident but some ailments that make the carrying impossible (MRT appointment shoulder on Monday) 🤷🏻♀️ Fortunately, cycling is yes more "legache" 😅
In Schwieringhausen away from the canal and to the dump Groppenbruch. It is not particularly spectacular, but it comes up well (even with debris) and has a wonderful panoramic view, since the heap is almost unbewächste (there are actually really cool highlight images of Wedi recorded with a drone) Except me was another lady up there ... a volunteer Vogelzählerin-as it turned out ... interesting conversation 😊👍🏻 From there I drove-still always on new, unknown paths- to the dump Minister Achenbach I / II, which in the immediate vicinity lies. Unfortunately, there is not this exposed panoramic view, but it was ok. At least I could see the birdcounter 👋🏻😊 If I had left the heap at the parking lot on the Elsa-Brandström-Straße and this would have followed, then it would have been less exhausting, because after leaving the Haldentop it went on the other side again properly uphill (ie with the debris anyway). Then I looked for the old cable car route and have-after a small detour in the wrong direction-also found. This can be followed very well through Brambauer and comes out directly at the dump Tockhausen, which was my next destination. Here I chose with my 7-speed hub gear, the moderate increase and only for the subsequent departure of the "Huiiiiii-variant" directly 😂 Such a coaster brake is something fine😂 Short rest at half height with a view of the UFO and Raisin pot with butter 😋
Heil arrived down below I followed "Tockhausen" past the duck pond Brambauer and then drove over the old railway bridge at Trianel coal power plant .... for the first time😁 Actually, I wanted to return to the channel at the next opportunity, but a lady told that at the Schlossmühle today Herbstfest was, as an alternative for an often weather-insecure Christmas market ... it was only a very small detour, so nothing like hin😂 (after I had already successfully escaped from the harvest market in Dortmund Hörde😂). Body and soul were taken care of and also for the corresponding economic cycle 💶🧦🧣🧤🌭🍲🥪☕️🍪🥂🍷🍻
From there back to now Datteln-Hamm-channel and Prussia port Lünen on then known ways to Bergkamen to Marina Rünthe. In the summer I had hoped for a rich walnut harvest on the canal, but the hope had already broken early .... At some point there were just no nuts left on the trees. 🤔🤷🏻♀️For that there are plenty of mushrooms 😊 In Rünthe then on the Zechenbahn and some (leading to no more) side trips on Eilater way (both can be really great! 😊👍🏻) via Kamen, Westick, Wasserurl Wickede, Aplerbeck and Stoke to Wellinghofen.According to the combo statistics, I had reached my goal for the season at the Pleckenbrinksee. "But as a precaution I transferred all my" made tours "to an Excel file, so I realized that 2 tours were completely identical (date, route, Kilometer, hm, time) - that would have been enough for the season target - but also the 3 tours that I did with DIETER and Derda from there, were also listed (quasi external services in my Statistik🙈🙄) .... now missing again 200km 😂🤷🏻♀️
But would have been completely unfair to the driving wheel, if the "debris" in his place would have rolled over the finish line ... now let's hope that the bike is soon ready for action again and can take the fame 💪🏻😊🚲 💋

Slowly I die from the desire for a further use of the Komoot app ... GPS crashes ... now just all the photos completely confused 🤦🏻♀️ I think they have really taken over.
Due to a fall on the way home yesterday I was not fully operational today Gaaaaanz, but a round in this unexpected good weather it should be ... so from the office to DEK .... to Henrichenburg ... this time again on the southern shore ... looked at the whole lock and boat lift area a bit more closely. Continue to DHK, lunch break at the mouth of DHK in DEK. Today, it also worked to observe a Bötchen when turning ☺️ Before Trianel power plant north to the Lippe, continue on the lip to Lünen. I like to walk in the footsteps of past tours. Continue on the DHK to the Marina Rünthe and then over Zechenbahn and Körneweg back home. A nice round through the autumnal area 🍁🍂🍄 Beautiful in the weather😎 I've taken pruning berries with me as a precaution 😉I'm getting simulated frost in the freezer tomorrow😉I'm labeling some more pictures tomorrow.

Have fun!
Of course, photos and comments on the tour follow ... At some point 😂🙈

Friday tour with office, then as often along the Dortmund-Ems canal along Deusen, Ellinghausen, Schwieringhausen, Groppenbruch -that change to the other side of the canal to Schleusenpark Waltrop. From there on "over the villages" to Datteln-Hamm-Kanal ... between Waltrop and Holthausen Lippe direction favorite places on the Lipperunde just before the airfield Lünen 🥰 ... all alone there, so I like das☺️👍🏻Aus time reasons I had to me Save today Lünen and the Horstmarer lake and turned earlier before heading south along the Rühenbecke. There and the following piece at the NSG Welschenkamp it was also very idyllic ... Unfortunately, only up to the Dortmunder road, there was then unfortunately the normal Friday afternoon madness on 4 wheels on the way 🙈and I was glad to branch off on the Hönninghauser road "in the bushes "to be able to beat 😅 Next we went across the city center of Dortmund ... short stopover at home to unload the" collected works "😊 and back to Dortmund to the Peace Square ... watch if other people feel like a round of cycling 😊👍🏻 Yes, some were there ... so close to 500 ... 🚴🏻♂️🚴🏼♀️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏼♀️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏼♀️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏼♀️🚴 🏻♂️🚴🏼♀️. was finally a 9-year anniversary ... So a round of cycling through Dortmund with final destination in Fredenbaumpark for a bit barbecue, chilling and chatting ... a successful afternoon / evening with a very nice round (and a long break !!! 😂)

That was a sensationally beautiful afternoon with wonderful new impressions. Start was at noon from the office. Had a short shrug, if I should go to Bergerhof or Nierenhof for lunch and exploring ... but had an afternoon appointment, so I postponed that to a day with more time 😊 Instead, it went on DO-Eichlinghofen -Uni rainbow bridge and technology park, Stockum and Heven to the Kemnader lake. Once there I made my deserved lunch break with more than just 3 tomatoes (!! 😂), then continued my way with a round around the lake, on to the Ruhrtal ferry, over the Ruhr on a detour to the castle ruins Hardenstein. Then I thought that it was pleasant but actually a bit boring to drive only the Ruhrtalradweg and since at the castle ruins a forest road passes, the decision was made quickly. I made the route manually deviating from the proposed combo navigation manually, which was not a very good idea, as it turns out .... who does not want to hear, must feel ... 🤷🏻♀️ that's the same in the forest, as in real life 😂 The way I had chosen was not to be identified as such .... totally washed out and deeply furrowed ... apparently at most something for the experienced mountain biker🙈 ... and also more down than up! I had to push'and all the time I was afraid that a mountain biker would come to meet me at full speed. The drivable area was not wider than 50 cm🤨 arrived at the top gabs asphalt, which I followed ... to the bay Margarethe, but only to deviate from the path there and follow a footpath instead of the asphalt road ... there you would have but I wanted to rather gravel and constant readiness to brake - one could say 🤦🏻♀️ But also I have survived safely and came out at the mining exhibition in Muttental. Am there a little strolled over the grounds and then followed the road, which then brought me to the highlight of my day - to the miners' ministry ... unique😍 .... inside and out just beautiful, the menu offers something for all tastes and purse ... especially original I found the Tobidelle (a meatballs from the butchery of Tobias😊👍🏻)
It was easy to talk, I was allowed to look at everything and take photos ... I had to eat anything for it ... would not have gone, since I had no cash, but also had Mr. Avermann an idea ... I could write that and pay at the next opportunity - is that to be understood ?! I was really flashed! 💫⚡️🥰 If you want to get an idea of yourself, I recommend a personal visit and before that the program "Beautiful - the Ruhrtalradweg part two" on Sunday, September 22 at 20:15 clock in WDR. There are the house of prayer and its operator to see😊
The dangler was worth the effort and next time I have cash in on it! 😊💶 I got out then at the castle Steinhausen (that was also planned so😂). The path from the Muttental there was so idyllic ... the crickets chirped along the way and otherwise there was silence ... in addition to the weather ... just wonderful 🥰
For the way home I used the dear old acquaintances ... Harkortsee, Hengsteysee, Ruhrtalradweg and then from the south to Dortmund home ...route-industriekultur.ruhr/themenrouten/26-sakralbauten/bethaus-im-muttental.htmlde.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regenbogenbrücke_(Dortmund)
