From here you have a good view of the former (deserted) village of Wollseifen, which had to be evacuated by order of the Belgian military administration in 1946. Today there is only the church and dummies for house-to-house combat exercises.
The ramps on this square and the one next to it were used for tank maintenance. These drove onto the ramps and could thus be inspected and serviced from below.
