At a height of 534 meters and south of the ruins of Nideck Castle, the waterfall falls from a wall of volcanic rock. The 25 meter high waterfall is embedded in a perfectly preserved nature.
Extensive walking and hiking trails are available to visitors here, which offer freshness and shade, especially in summer. The legend of the giants of Nideck Castle gives the place a special atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the wilderness and the forest.
The mountaintop itself offers exceptional views of the Bruche Valley. Extra paths have been laid out for easy access to the waterfall.
Even if the waterfall mutates into a small trickle in summer, the charm and attraction of this romantic place remains unchanged.
Access: RD 218, hiking trail opposite the "Maison forestière du Nideck"

Recommended after rain or when the snow is melting in spring, somewhat less spectacular in summer when the water level is low. You should avoid the combination of good weather and weekends, as experience shows there is a lot going on. If possible, it's better to visit during the week when the weather is good; personally, it's too touristy there on the weekend.

Located south of the ruins of Nideck Castle, the waterfall plunges from a wall of volcanic rock with lots of noise about 25 meters in depth.
A real spectacle of nature!
